I loved the location of this hotel. The breakfast buffet was wonderful, and the room was quiet and clean.

Bad Time in Bad Toelz
Posted 26 Sep 2022 on HotelsI was not impressed with this hotel, sadly. It is rather outdated and dark. The restaurant on the ground floor is very appealing and welcoming but the hotel room that we had on the top floor was not. We did not sleep either of the two nights as there was a terrific crashing noise above us which continued without pause all through the night. We thought it might be the flagpole or a heating system, but when we mentioned it at reception at checkout they seems flummoxed and offered no explanation -- nor it should be mentioned -- a discount of any sort. We were disappointed, though the surrounding Bavarian area offers a lot to see.

Very spacious historic bridal suite, right in the center. Good food. Friendly. Antique twin beds. Insufficient curtains causing unvolontary early rise.
