Avoid this hotel, book another!

I would avoid this hotel like the plague. It was the worst hotel that we stayed out of 7 and our experience left a bad taste in our mouths. I paid for the hotel up front via the website and when we arrived at the hotel early evening there was no parking. I was instructed to parking 150 meters in a local town car park not in view of the hotel. Because of this we had to empty all our possessions from the car for security. I then had to pay for my son to have a bed even though I booked for 2 adults and 1 child. That was on the reservation. I had to pay a further 20 Euros for my son to have his bed, which was a sofa bed pull out bed with a sheet on. The attitude from the staff was very poor and the owner refused to give me a refund on the telephone. The beds where not comfortable. My son had broken sleep for the poor quality bed. My wife's bed caved in due to the cheap plastic struts, she had to sleep on the other end of the bed and I woke up with a very sore back. There is no tea and coffee making facilities. The only positive this for us was the very nicely done bathroom and over head shower. The breakfast was done to a good standard and the staff at breakfast where very attentive. The hotel is in the town centre if you need access to the shops. I would not stay hear again personally even if you paid me.

Dear Guest´s, I am sorry about your bad experience in our Hotel. You booked a double room and expectet a 3-bed-room. To bad, that you didn´t reply to my email, which I sent 1 week before your arrival, in which I explained, that we charge 20.--€ for an extra bed, for your 15 year old child. My collegueages offered you a place in our Garage (7.--€), which you did not accepted. You booked a non refundable rate. We do have tea and coffee making facilities in our Apartments and Suites. My employees always try to make our guests happy. You threatened to give a bad revue if I not refund you money. Please understand, that this is not the way we run our business. I will thank you for the nice comment about our buffet breakfast and the ladies in the breakfast service. They remembered your nice comment aboute our porzelan and the decoration. I hope, you and your family had a save way back home and remain with best regards Konrad Scherf

Eine sehr schöne und komfortable Unterkunft. Kann ich nur weiter empfehlen. Freundliches Personal, das Essen war sehr gut und auch das Zimmer war in einem einwandfreiem Zustand.
