A family-run place, nicely located near the historical park, many old temples and the elephant palace. in a green and quiet par of town. highly recommended if you're looking for something simple and quiet! The hosts are friendly and helpful.

Very kind, present and helping owners. The rooms are very comfortable. If I ever go back to Ayutthaya, I'll gladly rent a room again at Baan Penny!

Anchali and Gerhard were excellent hosts and made us feel very welcome. Looked after us extremely well and gave us some great pointers on where to eat and explore in Ayutthaya.
Room was clean and cosy.

Lovely property with 8 bungalow-type rooms. Very friendly host who mapped out a one day tour of Ayutthaya for us, including an excellent local restaurant. Bikes are available at Baan Penny and that is how we we toured the city. There is a market nearby too.

Absolute Gem in Ayutthaya
Posted 6 Feb 2023 on HotelsSo happy we stayed here! It was like staying with family, if they catered to your every need! The property is gorgeous and close to themain centeal ruins complex (about a 10 min walk). The owners suggested hiring a tuk tuk driver for the day, arranged everything and even created an itinerary so we were able to see the famous temples and some hidden gems we didn't know to look for. And im so glaf we took them up on it since it took all the stress of of us. They let us check in early and check out late since we were taking an overnight train to Chiang Rai at 9pm at night... whcih meant we didnt have to worry about anything between the regular check out time anf when we left. I can't recommend them enough! Was sad to leave this place behind!

Owners are delightful, very helpful and knowledgeable.
We stayed 4 nights and would highly recommend a stay at Baan Penny.
