Happy with the hotel room and staff very helpful and friendly service was excellent food was excellent and the service due to the current situation was excellent

OK for overnight stop, but needs a makeover.
Posted 30 Sep 2019 on HotelsBuilding and rooms are a bit tired and need sprucing up. Restaurant was good with hard working staff - enjoyed both main meal and breakfast. Overall it was quiet and peaceful, but the accommodation was not up to the standard we've seen from Campanile in the past. Staff were great and made us very welcome, although we had booked a double room and ended up with a twin which they could not exchange as they were full. Good to see a kettle and coffee making equipment in the room - so many hotels that used to provide this don't do so anymore. Not bad for just an overnight stop, but for the price we expected better.

Arriving took me 30 minutes to find someone to check us in. I had to walk through the entire hotel, when I walked to the back room from outside I found the staff sitting outside smoking a cigarette. Right there ruined the experience for us, as we previously stayed in others Campanille in this trip. This one is by far the worst. We wanted to have dinner at their restaurant by it was closed for the guest, beyond annoying. I
