It was nice and not 100 degrees. Unusual for Texas.

The hotel check in and out process is seamless and top rated. Keep in mind check is 4pm and early check in is first come first served and we still waited an hour but they did their best to get us in. Lobby and grounds are beautiful, rooms need updating! Enjoyed the stay nonetheless.

We arrive at 1am and hotel did honor my request for 2 connecting rooms and top floors, but the Suite's air condition keep blowing cold air, non stop , cold and noisy. can not sleep, waited until morning and called for repair, Engineer said there is broken part, and replaced it, also no hot water, which takes long time to fix, then I called front desk for a room change, they said there are vacant rooms available for change, but the system is down, can not generate keys. have to work with engineers to repair the cold water issue, finally it's done, then Dinner at Blind SALAMANDER, Waited for around 2 hours, the Main Course did not come, we have to cancel it and eat instant noodle at room, so one full day no sleep, no eat , if I am hotel manager, I will not charge that night at least. with that said, they do have good location with beautiful High Country View, also a new building, just they assigned us an old building, wishing I checked in detail when booking, also lost and found staff is helpful when my son forget his bag at the game room.

Randy, thank you for your feedback. We consider it a gift as it helps us to better understand how to meet and exceed all of our guests' needs every time they stay with us. That is always our goal. Unfortunately, the room configuration you requested with the suite connecting to a queen balcony unfortunately does not exist. All of our balcony rooms are in the original tower of the hotel which have been fully remodeled. We regret that the complimentary upgrade to the Presidential suite, room gift, and resort credit were not enough to overcome your dissatisfaction. We do hope you will come back to stay with us again as it would be our honor to earn your trust again.

Had an excellent stay. Rooms were clean, quiet and staff was genuinely friendly and helpful. When in Austin, we will return.

We visited for spring break with our kids and overall we had a pleasant stay. The weather was dreary but we made the best of it. Dining options were great and the kids loved the smores. Staff was nice and helpful. Would visit again and pray for better weather.
