Property is close to I-35. We had a lot of road noise making sleep difficult. We were on the 11th floor and still had lots of road noise.

Old property it’s maintained had some trouble with the elevator and the bar apparently was getting remodeled. Overall the place was completely and utterly average, so was great for the event we had to go to.

BEWARE if you have your own vehicle be prepare to pay $52 a day for self parking in the hotels own parking garage. If your doing self parking don’t stop underneath the canopy to unload your luggage because valet will tell you to move because you are causing traffic (which I wasn’t). 3rd floor in parking garage which is also street lvl is all for valet which you can barely see painted on the floor. Also it’s very hard to get around in the parking garage I would advice not to bring a truck or big suv. Arrive there at 3 to check in just to be told my room wasn’t ready yet and I would have to wait. Finally when I received my room I went to drop off my luggage and the room was extremely humid while the AC was set at 67. Figure out later when I went out that if you set your thermostat above 70 the room will be humid when you come back.

We had a great experience overall. I was a little hesitant from other review but we didn’t encounter load noise. Parking is expensive but we paid valet instead. When you request by time you get down to lobby your car is there. Only thing was the pool and gym was not available at our stay.

I did not have a good experience at Downright hotel. It is in remodeling process and nobody warned me. There was a lot of noice and the main restaurant was closed. In addition, my room had a door that connected to another room and I could not sleep because of the noice of the people next door sounded as if they were in my room.

Unfortunately, my stay was not good. They didn't clean the room during my stay at the hotel. The restaurant is very expensive and mediocre. Staff is okay, not friendly and not welcoming at all. I guess just doing their job.
