Excellent location walkable to the CBD, didn't have time to enjoy the pool but the facilities looks fantastic.

The check in is a bit strange due to the arrangement with Sofitel, bit confusing when you arrive, no signage for information

Stayed for 3 nights at Marsden Viaduct (which is basically the Sofitel) but cheaper. It uses 2-3 floors of the Sofitel Hotel. You arrive at Sofitel reception area and call Marsden reception to check in and a staff member comes and greets you and takes you to Level 3 to their reception. All the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Great location, easy walking distance to Wynyard area and also Viaduct with plenty of restaurants, cafes, supermarket etc. Easy for all transport options. Lovely and quiet, with a beautiful outlook. Close enough to walk anywhere in CBD, Britomart etc. Huge room, very comfortable bed, great amenities. Will definitely stay here again, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone.
