Areived late but key was ready for collection straight away. A grwat cooked breakfast in the morning. Clean, friendly, simple. Can't complain!

The bed was comfortable and room was warm.
The staff very friendly. Breakfast was great.
Richard is a character. Will come again when visiting family.

Posted 28 Aug 2023 on HotelsIts just an old Coaching Inn. A pub with rooms on the upper floor, and that is precisely what I love about the place. Never an issue with parking, and two large Supermarkets within a few minutes walk. Takeaways line the main road if something varied is required, but the Griffin has an excellent restaurant serving excellent wholesome fresh tukka. The breakfast option is also excellent. I have stayed there many times and will continue to do so.
