I could not check in because there was $100 deposit that was not mentioned before I made the reservation and I did not have the hundred dollars to put down for a deposit

Having just been on a trip to NYC, I was expecting at least equal conditions for the higher price. The room was big, but not as clean and maintained as expected. .

Common areas look like they need a new paint. All the hotel smells like cigarettes. The room that I was in had holes on the wall and roaches in the pillows. I asked from another room and they didn’t have anything available so I checked out. The only good thing about this place was Edith she helped me get my refund and deposit back. Definitely wont be coming back.

The first room we were given at the property was unclean as the bed was not made at all, no linens in the restroom, and looked as though no one had visited the room. The gentlemen at the front kindly changed our rooms, when we arrived at the second one this was in nearly worse condition. It was as though someone simply made the bed and left. The floors were dirty to the point we had to have shoes on all times till we went to bed, mysterious sticky substance on the desk, and were missing a trash can.
