4 night stay working away. Ok hotel well placed. Hi speed wifi is non existent so that should be amended in the description. But welcoming and friendly. Food is good. Like the historical aspect.

WI-FI virtually non existent but that’s not the hotel it’s the town as a whole.

This is my second stay in about 6 weeks. It's a great central location in the town and filled with history. I grew up in Atherstone, so it's a convenient and fairly priced hotel near my family.
Staff are friendly and hospitable, bar atmosphere is great and food is terrific. (It may also have the hottest (temperature) meals you'll ever be served!).
The rooms could do with some updating, but they are not out of character with the hotel. Shower was a little weak. TV was pretty small, but these are minor things. Overall I enjoyed my stay and will very likely stay again.
Atherstone is a lovely historic town if you're looking for somewhere to stay in Central England.
