On top of Anakob being extraordinarily unique, the quality of service and comfort was top notch. Tamer was a great communicator through Orbitz and with WhatsApp. He helped me book my driver to Abu Simbel last minute coming off a Nile Cruise tour. Excursions can be booked with Anakob. Just message them about it and Tamer (owner) will help arrange. Upon arrival, their private speedboat was arranged for us to get to Anakob. I will mention that we didn't know what was going on while waiting at KFC and next thing we know someone was carrying our luggage onto a boat, then we just had to assume we are hopping on that same boat haha As we checked in, everyone was just all smiles and we knew immediately Aswan and the Nubian people had captured our hearts. the Elephantine island is small enough to walk around and explore It was gorgeous waking up on the boat and walking out to the deck. An experience you want to have on your trip to Aswan. One downside was after my trip, I was still being messaged by one of the speedboat drivers persistently. I didn't respond as I couldn't really comprehend the message but i eventually had to mute the messaging to enjoy the rest of my egypt trip. And TBH, sharing your Whatsapp Number is risk anywhere when dealing with vendors so just block it right after the service is done, and go on with your trip.

Fantastic in every way. Room was excellent, with an en suite. Mustafa, Humada, Hima and the others were all lovely giving people, nothing too much effort and taught us about Nubian culture (thank you all!! hope to return). And for only 75 EGP (£3) Mustafa makes a killer breakfast that will leave you full and happy all week!! The views are UNBELIEVABLE, must be the best in all of Aswan. Super calm stretch of the Nile (not like the East side of the island), right beneath the Aga Khan mausoleum, the Botanical Gardens, the new Monastery of St. Simeon, and the Temple of the Nobles. And a really unique experience staying in a Nubian village, which feels very authentic but safe, welcoming, and low on the hassle. Good price for boats and tours through the hotel, not the very cheapest, but worth it to skip the hassle - we went on an amazing sunset felucca ride.

Nice view, hard to get to, feels unsafe

Posted 18 Apr 2022 on Hotels
No way to get to this place from the City, boat ride was asking for 25 dollars to get in and get out from this place. Nice views from the boat, good experience of Nile river in Aswan Staff hung around watching us, we were the only ones on the boat, was kind of creepy.

Hi Sanjay, Many thanks for the feedback, actually I’m wondering why you didn’t use the public ferry which costs 5EGP, which is 0.25cents per person. Anyways a private boat to cross the Nile costs 50EGP per boat which is 2.7$ , there’s no 25$ price for sure there was something wrong . The island is extremely safe, there’s no outsiders it’s only families , so don’t worry about safety at all. For the staff that were hanging around I’ll check with the staff to give guests more space and privacy. You can always inform the staff with whatever you want , we were just in the public spaces to be close to our guests in case anything is needed. Thanks

An incredibly unique, luxury, boutique boathouse

Posted 22 Feb 2022 on Hotels
If you are looking for a memorable, unique and luxurious experience in Aswan... THIS IS IT!!!! You will regret it if you don't book this place. This was truly a luxury experience! The service was absolutely amazing. Tamer left no detail undone. He welcomed us on a private motorboat that brought us from the mainland to the boathouse at 1am when our train arrived. He planned an entire 2 day itinerary for us that included the most beautiful Feluca ride and a trip to the Nubian Village with authentic dinner recommendations. On the second day, he arranged for us to have a very nice/modern private car + driver to bring us to Abu Simbel and back. The hospitality at Anakob is unmatched. This is a boutique luxury boathouse. It is immaculately clean, the bed is so comfortable, the shower is nice and hot, breakfast on the deck watching the felucas ride by on the Nile is one of the most breathtaking views I have ever experienced. I cannot believe I found this place.

Ottima posizione pessima pulizia

Barca in una una splendida posizione per esplorare l’isola elefantina, personale molto cortese e disponibile peccato per la pulizia che lascia molto (ma molto ) a desiderare.
