Completely overpriced. Do not be fooled by the upgraded / premium rooms, as all of the changes are cosmetic in nature. Classic example of putting lipstick on a pig. Walls are paper thin, and you can hear every conversation in the adjacent rooms.

Based on reading the reviews, I decided to book this place. First off, Great front desk staff. We were in the second floor and overlooking the marina. Our kids loved watching cargo ships going by in the evening. Now room and hotel seems very old and outdated. Room was dusty. For how much the room is, I was expecting a much better room. It was nothing like the room we booked. Spouse enjoyed having a gym. Lots of parking spots. We also enjoyed having a quick breakfast before we hit the door. Its in a dingy location but convenient to get on the bridge to Washington.

Clean, nice design, friendly staff, beautiful view, no elevator so if you struggle walking request 1st floor, easy to find, nice restaurants within walking distance and excellent staff! Delicious breakfast daily and easy check in our process.

Would not stay here again. Understaffed and property seemed old and not maintained well. The sheets were clean but the ceiling was peeling above shower just felt generally old and needed updated.

The location on the waterfront with a private balcony overlooking the marina makes it worth staying here. The facility was clean and breakfast had good options along with the marina view from the breakfast room. I was a little concerned when we first arrived because of the exterior building condition (worn exterior doors badly painted, exterior paint in fair condition, a couple of tears in the carpet (even though it appeared to not be very old) and interior wall paint needs touch-up in places. However, they appear to be refurbishing the end of the wing we were in, so hopefully that means they are working their way down the wing. All in all, we had a good stay and would stay there again.

We've stayed here over the years. This last time we were put in a room next to the laundry room. When the dryer was on (per the front desk), it shook the floor where are table was in front of the sliding glass door. Like earthquake shake. It was a rainy day (not anything earth shattering as we have been in Astoria before when it has rained so hard sideways you can barely stand up) and the Internet and TV was very intermittent. We tried to make a laugh of it and would tell each other every few minutes when it would stop --- Oh! Another Intermission! The part I didn't like was when I talked to front desk 1st time about internet/TV I was told if it continued to call back in 10 mins & tell her, and they'd contact the ISP. I called back in 10 mins & was told by someone else, that wasn't true. The ISP was supposed to be coming to booster the internet some day but not sure when, so NO the ISP would not be called--because it was raining, when it let up the TV would work. I hate being lied to. Bed memory foam; was okay. The breakfast was okay. Nice view just seems to need upkeep and definitely something done about ISP. And TV remote very complicated but service never worked right anyway. Oh, front desk said further away your room is from front desk, the worse the internet/TV service is FYI everyone.
