This property was unique in its lack of internet connection (it is the year 2022 and there are thousands of properties with connectivity around it!) and in its inability to work with a customer to make sure the customer leaves happy. I booked 4 nights through Expedia. As soon as we checked in, i found out that there is internet only in the public lobby. Ok (maybe) for the weekend but not in midweek, when i have to spend hours on work zoom calls. We had to move to another place after the first 2 nights. The hotel refused to refund the other 2 nights directly to me or through Expedia (Expedia contacted them to check). Umbria is a wonderful place with so many excellent hotels and B&Bs. There's no reason to book this one.

Ci dispiace molto dell’accaduto ma nelle note di Expedia è specificato che il WIFI è solo negli spazi comuni. Purtroppo la zona non è coperta e ci dobbiamo affidare ad una Società privata per il momento. Per quanto riguarda il rimborso non credo sia giusto effettuarlo anche perché ha usufruito di una tariffa agevolata proprio per il tipo di pagamento oltre al fatto che noi abbiamo messo a disposizione esattamente quello stabilito. Nonostante ciò Le abbiamo concesso un buono dell’importo da Lei richiesto da spendere per un ulteriore soggiorno presso di noi. Accettiamo comunque le Sue critiche come accettiamo molti altri clienti che apprezzano la nostra attenzione e impegno.

We arrived a bit late for the check-in. The attendant seemed irritated, handed us the room keys, pointed us in the direction of the rooms, and left. When we got to the rooms, we found two scorpions in one of them. The kids panicked, ran outside and said they were not going to sleep there as they were afraid. We then had to scramble and were fortunate to find new accommodation which we booked. The next day we went back to Carpediem and showed photos of the scorpions. They were apologetic, offered to change the room but given the trauma experienced by the kids the night before, we politely declined. When we requested a refund, we were told that they would not grant any so we ended up losing two nights accommodation for the two rooms we had booked. Will never book there again and wish to advise everyone to beware!!

Siamo ovviamente spiacenti per l’accaduto ma crediamo che essendo la nostra struttura in aperta campagna episodi del genere possono capitare. Abbiamo fatto la sanificazione come da protocollo e la disinfestazione qualche giorno prima. Crediamo che in questo caso sia giusto non concedere alcun rimborso in quanto il cambio di appartamento sarebbe stata la soluzione più logica e ragionevole ma non ci avete dato modo di effettuarlo. Lavoriamo ogni giorno per dare il meglio e sicuramente a volte non basta ma in questo caso non abbiamo nulla da rimproverarci.

This is a delightful place to stay. We booked when everything else was full in Assisi for Easter and did not expect much. We were pleasantly surprised.

Such a beautiful place to stay. Highly Recommend

Pros: Staff make you feel like you are at home. Surroundings, views and locations are awesome, bit out of the way but staff are very helpful with transport.
Cons: Wifi connection terrible unless you are in reception or games room
Location: Love the local town of Assisi, absolutely one of the must see attractions of Italy.
Staff are so accommodating, pool and views are gorgeous and apartments are spacious.

Alloggio confortevole, molto comodo per visitare Assisi e dintorni. Comodissimo servizio navetta gratuito verso Assisi. Consigliato.
