Ideal location to visit the mining museum.
Evening meals and breakfast all excellent.

Great pub with very nice annexe of lovely rooms.
A local power cut meant I didn’t get to try the shower or in-room hot drinks and they couldn’t serve cooked breakfast but this was totally outside their control - the emergency lighting worked!

Food choice was extensive and tasty (what we had) and drinks good.

Posted 16 Nov 2023 on HotelsVery comfortable stay, room great, evening meal was good value, tasty and plentyful. Breakfast was good but would be excellent with a better quality sausage! from a business perspective, decent desk and chair in room and quick reliable Wifi.
