Very nice historical property. The food and service was excellent. The carpets were horrible and desperately needed to be changed. Dirty and worn out.

Property is showing its age. Rooms over the pool are heavily carpeted and halls and rooms smell strongly of dampness and the cleaners that have been used to counteract the musty smell.

There are a few different options available now over 4 buildings: each one is unique. Friendly staff and happy guests. We met several who had returned many times while this was only our second.
We plan on returning again soon.

The only thing i did not like was in my room no refrigerator and no microwave. Most motels nowadays at least provide these 2 things. Coming from a hotel that is known across Ontario and even Canada you would think every room would have both items! Otherwise a wonderful stay!

Thank you Ellen. The majority of our rooms include a bar fridge however the smaller rooms cannot accommodate one. We encourage our guests to enjoy the delicious cuisine offered in the Ivey dining room so therefore have chosen not to place microwaves in the rooms.

This property is unique. It was a textile mill on a river. There are various building all easy walk. Beautiful greenery and our room had a small balcony with two chairs and a view of the river. Lovely. Not accessible, stairs everywhere, albeit only a few at a time, if you stay on the main floor. No elevators. There is close parking at all buildings.
