The grounds were beautiful and the staff went out of their way to help you, but our room was freezing cold the entire time. We were told that it was because the resort had switched from heating to cooling, which I get, but that didn't keep me warm at night while my wife and I huddled under 2 blankets

While it is true that the current a/c system is centralized, being rather hot on that days, heating was turned off. At the same time we will take a good note from you comment in order to find a different solution that can make feel better our guests during the shoulder season.
