The hotel facilities are nice and the front desk staff were helpful. At breakfast, the service and food were lacking.

Nice newer hotel with balcony views

Very convenient to Arusha Technical College and Arusha Lutheran Medical Center. Newer hotel in good condition with great breakfast and nice balcony views, with HDTV and movie channel. Great service and staff.

The hotel did not have an elevator and we were on the 4th floor. We were shocked to find 100's of flying insects over the bed when we entered the room. The room was advertised having AC however there wasn't an AC unit in the room. The hotel found an industrial size portable AC unit. Unfortunately it was very noisy which made it difficult to sleep. the room didn't have towels and hand soap when we arrived.

This is a nice relatively inexpensive hotel in which to stay in Arusha. The road to the hotel is relatively rough but inside is very good. For someone on a tight budget this is a very nice alternative to the 4-star-priced hotels in Arusha.

Very quiet place. Front desk staff is excellent. Very secured. Road to the hotel is little rough. Has a bar. Breakfast is included and is served from 6:30 am. Lunch and dinner are also served at a very nominal rates. Big shopping market is within walkable distance. Bus stand to Nairobi is less than 10 minutes.

Nice hotel, but not a good tourist spot

Posted 4 Mar 2019 on Hotels
The hotel is actually quite nice and the staff very friendly and helpful. I dinged them a little because they arranged a taxi for us to the airport and he was either drunk, extremely tired or on drugs. We did not feel safe for the entire 90 minute drive. They also advertised air conditioning but what they actually have is a dehumidifier which doesn’t do the trick. Other than that, the hot water heater for the shower is quite quirky but sort of works. They had cold beer and the free breakfast was ok. Again, the service was actually pretty good. Their English was pretty good as well. Location isn't the best for mzungu. It seemed like maybe there was a part of town that most mzungu stay and this was definitely far from it. We didn't feel very safe walking around after dark. Most of the restaurants and things that rate highly on Google are far away.

Clean and comfortable for cost conscious

Posted 27 Feb 2018
Pros: It was very affordable, clean and comfortable. I felt very safe staying there.
Cons: A better selection of wines.
Location: This hotel is located close enough to downtown Arusha to walk, but far enough away that you do not have the noise and car exhaust.
This hotel exceeded my expectations. While it is not fancy, it delivers on its promise of a clean and comfortable hotel. A continental breakfast was advertised, but it included more - hot meal items as well as fresh fruit. The service was excellent both at reception and in the dining room. I also had a spectacular view of Mount Meru from my balcony.
