Beautiful B&B, beautiful location, fantastic host

Posted 16 Sep 2019 on Hotels
We had an amazing time at An Corr. Our room was gorgeous - beautifullly furnished and everything so thoughtfully arranged. Sitting at the dining table looking out over Loch Long while we enjoyed a generous, beautifully prepared and delicious breakfast was just lovely. The bed was comfy and because there was a lot of rain during our stay it was great to have access to Netflix! The afternoon treats were a really lovely surprise and Matt made us feel exceptionally welcome. I’ve already recommended An Corr to friends and I hope they’ll book!

The little treats in the room (cheese, whiskey) were unexpected but much appreciated 😊

Impeccable stay, fab views, great stay!

We cannot praise this b&b highly enough. We had a wonderful stay, so many lovely personal little touches (like sleep spray, sweets and fruit in the room after a long day walking, delicious 2 course breakfast). The hosts were incredibly friendly, room was well thought out and huge, bed was amazingly comfortable, everything you need. Area is beautiful, views from the room are astounding and as you could choose to have breakfast in your own room, this was great!! I would highly recommend a stay here, we loved it!

Fantastic stay guaranteed

Everything about this B and B was great from the friendly service to the comfort and luxuries of the room. Everything has been so well thought out. The food was delicious and we also had a lovely meal at the village inn. Beautiful view of the loch which we enjoyed whilst eating breakfast in our own dining area within our room.

Exceptional B&B

Pros: Location and views. Friendly and very helpful owners. Very comfortable tastefully decorated room. Delicious breakfast.
Cons: Don't change anything, it's great as it is.
Location: Great location on Loch Long. Pub with good food 5 minutes up the road. Close to Arrochar village centre. Close to Cobbler (Ben Arthur) climb.
We booked the An Corr on the glowing recommendation of friends for a 2 nights stay during our road trip up the West Coast and we were not disappointed. The property is on the Loch-side with both of the guest rooms having stunning views over the Loch to the mountains on the other side. The owners were very welcoming and helpful with advice about walks and things to see in the area. Nothing was too much trouble and they even provided bottled water in an ice bucket for when we returned from our walk. The room was very comfortable, fresh and airy, beautifully decorated, with a seating area near the window to relax. Amazing attention to detail throughout. Breakfast had 2 courses with a choice of 3-4 options for each. It was delicious and beautifully presented. You have the choice to eat in the kitchen or at the table in your room with the view, so we opted for the view. All in all I would say that our experience was better than for the vast majority of hotels we have ever stayed in let alone a B&B so cannot recommend highly enough.
