Well worth a visit.
Posted 15 Nov 2023 on HotelsRoom very clean and tidy with everything that you need for a comfortable stay. The staff were very nice and helpful bearing in mind that our German is very limited. Hotel is nicely situated with only a short walk in to town. Arnstadt has a beautiful old town centre with a great cafe opposite the Rathaus for afternoon coffee and strudel / ice cream sundaes etc . One of the few places open on Sunday. Nice place to stay for three or four days at least.

The hotel is close to the railway and at night the place can get noisy

Cold and noisy
Posted 11 Nov 2016 on HotelsThe hotel room was freezing cold, the aircon/heating wouldn't work. I was next to reception which was extremely loud.
The restaurant food was poor and their were wasps around the bar.
Rude staff.

Hotel rooms are clean and comfy but dated. The curtains were transparent and didn't block any light from the large window. Breakfast was superb. The hotel is remote, a good work to the town centre and a long walk to the train station.
