Unpleasant Stay, Not Recommended
Posted 25 Mar 2019 on HotelsThis place was far from advertised. When I first arrived the gentleman at the desk repeatedly asked to keep my Passport overnight, and return it in the morning. I had to refuse 3 times before he finally gave up and provided me with the key to a room.
The door of my room had been previously forced in and the frame was repaired with finishing nails from the inside, which did not inspire confidence in my safety. There was no additional lock on the inside of the door, and the furniture basically fell apart while I searched for an electrical outlet within the room (there was not one, only one available in the bathroom). The hotel itself had an unpleasant smell throughout (combination of mold and other), and to make that worse my room's window did not open, and was covered in a cheap, peeling plastic on the inside.
There was black mold in the joints on the inside door of the shower, and generally most parts of the hotel were rundown, broken or dirty. I would not recommend this hotel.

Posted 18 May 2015It is a good hotel if you need a mid way spot to stay. It could be a bit cleaner. Unfortunately we picked a night where a tour bus was in and people were constantly running up and down the hall ways so didnt get any sleep

Plenty of parking but not a great location

Pros: Parking
Cons: Pool area is a bit shabby, no shade on the roof top,no umbrellas provided
Location: 10km from Arezzo, adjacent to shops/buildings which are empty
Location not great. 10 km from Arezzo and adjacent to buildings where shops have closed down. The room was very nice,clean and comfortable and plenty of parking.

Courteous Staff and Good Location

Gentile Anonimo, non si vergogna?
Chiedo, perché recensire un'attività inventando falsità dovrebbe farla vergognare. Innanzitutto la posizione della nostra struttura è ben localizzabile su maps, così come su qualsiasi altro dispositivo gps, quindi, anche qualora fosse isolata, mi spiace ma dovrebbe incolpare sé stesso per non aver saputo usare i mezzi a Sua disposizione per capire dove fossimo e scegliere di conseguenza. In ogni caso, siamo a 10 minuti di macchina da Arezzo e a 5 minuti da Castiglion Fiorentino.. si fidi, in Toscana c'è di peggio.
In secondo luogo, e qui arrivo al punto in cui la curva della Sua vergogna dovrebbe subire una clamorosa impennata: extracomunitari?? Ma dove?! Mi faccia capire: Lei vede una persona di colore e in automatico pensa che sia un extracomunitario? Sappia che la persona in questione è regolarmente assunta dalla ns ditta di pulizie, e svolge il proprio lavoro assieme alle sue colleghe con più dignità di quanta ne ha dimostrata Lei e la Sua faciloneria nell'etichettare gli altri.
Non siamo speciali, questo è vero. Siamo un gruppo di persone che lavorano, insieme, tutti i giorni, con lo scopo di dare un buon servizio a tutti gli ospiti. Non abbiamo certo la pretesa di sbaragliare la concorrenza, ma ci vedrà sempre con il sorriso sul volto mentre facciamo del nostro meglio. C'è chi lo apprezza, e chi no.

Galileo: tutto bene, ma....
Posted 3 Jan 2019 on HotelsHo alloggiato al Galileo soltanto una notte, l'albergo data la stagione ed il giorno della settimana era praticamente vuoto. Tuttavia, la disponibilità del personale, la pulizia della stanza ed il comfort generale sono valsi i soldi spesi. Unica pecca, non trascurabile. Nel prezzo era compresa la colazione, la quale consisteva in una bevanda calda e NULLA da mangiare ad eccezione di un cornetto. Troppo poco, direi. Per il resto, scelta che rifarei.
