Great spot. The staff were great especially Stephanie. Nice rooms, yummy breakfast and close to main square.

We felt like we had a home in Arequipa at Tambo. The historic site right in our backyard was a special treat. The service was excellent and indeed heartfelt. We are returning again for our last night in Arequipa and would love to return.

The hotel is clean and near everything. The breakfest was okay. The room we had was near the front desk and an employee was talking on the phone for a long time during the night.

My main complaint is the bed was as hard as wooden board. I called the hotel prior booking and was informed that the beds are soft. Avoid if you prefer soft bed. Also, you can’t open windows and there is no HVAC. Otherwise, it’s a beautiful historic hotel

The hotel was fine and staff were very helpful. But overall, the property wasn't as nice as it seemed online and there was a strong cleaning products smell in the room our entire stay. The location was close enough to the main plaza, but wasn't on a very charming street.

Lovely but warm
Posted 17 Nov 2023 on HotelsThe hotel was gorgeous and the staff were awesome and so sweet especially Maria Fay. Breakfast was lovely and the location was good. Note that there is no temperature control in the room and no screens on the windows so if you want to cool down you will let mosquitos in. A plug in fan would have been great to help with the heat.
