"Very beautiful lake scenery from a room. Very close to the lake side being able to see amazing sunrise view, which is one of my favourites. Room and facilities are excellent and staff is really professional and kind. A bit far away from sightseeing places, though."

"The most beautiful hotel with outstanding amenities and staff. The location was excellent right in the heart of a historic Kyoto neighborhood.
We really enjoyed the history behind the building and how they preserved the elementary school memorabilia.
The guest lounge is a wonderful option for afternoon tea or happy hour drinks. Breakfast was outstanding and all the staff were truly top notch. Would definitely go back!"
