The bed type description for each room MUST be changed. It says for a room type with view, there is an option for either king bed OR two twin beds. So I paid extra and even messages the property requesting explicitly for twin beds. But during check-in, I was told that there is no room with view with twin beds. So I wasted extra money for nothing. It’s ridiculous how misleading bed type descriptions are and how there is no communication between Expedia and the property.

Superb breakfast. Staff of highest quality. Next to railway station. Alas the 'free' drink for their 'green' initiative only covers unexciting beer, despite promotion suggesting otherwise.

Modern hotel with beautifully finished interior, which is conveniently located next to the central railway station. The rooms are quiet and have large comfortable beds. I would recommend the varied breakfast, which is served in a wonderful spacious double-height room.

Staff lovely. As often happens we booked a room with a ‘seating area’ , as we were staying for five days when the weather could not be guaranteed! Sadly the seating area consisted of a desk chair and one additional chair in a room which really did not have space for the additional chair. I am always disappointed when hotels advertise a seating ‘area’ but really just mean one comfortable chair in a room for two people. As we do not like using the bed in our clothes, we were not exactly comfortable during rainy afternoons. Other than that the hotel was clean, staff lovely and hotel well located.

Their green initiative (no room service) offers a free drink in bar. This used to cover all beers. On last two stays it is now restricted to Stella if beer. Alas I'm involved with beer tourism and offering such a multinational brand is something of an insult! And made worse by front desk staff and promotion suggesting it is any beer, which is untrue. NH computer system is dysfunctional. Although this possibly means more interaction with the staff who are always excellent! Impressive buffet breakfast. The location next to station but within striking distance of the city centre is perfect.
