Nice place to stay with spacious and clean rooms and friendly staff. Quite close to coffee shops, tour providers, restaurants, etc. yet a bit away from the more crowded centers. Nice breakfast included in the price of the room.

Lovely hotel, really helpful and friendly staff. Easy few blocks walk into the main part of Antigua, which is a great town. Stunning Korean restaurant round the corner, food in hotel good too. Clean rooms, hotel areas Only improvement area- quicker response via Expedia messaging please. Took a lot of correspondence and time to book airport transfers. Reverted to direct WhatsApp in the end Would have been nice to have just a 15 minute extension to check out time as son was returning from overnight Acatenango volcano hike, had to go to local gym for a shower

We only stayed one night but we loved it. The staff were very friendly, the rooms were clean and tidy, and the garden was beautiful. The only downside was the lack of AC — not sure if that’s common in Guatemala. Overall, highly recommend!

There is on site parking which is great. The local TikTok taxis are always on saying by which is great but being in at edge of the local downtown always lead to new opportunities if choice to be walk to hotspots.

Excellent stay

Excellent stay; breakfasts were awesome with various options; rooms are clean and service was good overall; the only comment is that no A/C in the rooms; maybe it is not necessary so no big issue, temperature was good but a little humid inside.

Hotel Las Farolas is a peaceful retreat tucked away in a quiet, charming neighborhood of Antigua. The lush garden filled with vibrant plants and flowers makes it feel like you’re staying in a tropical oasis. Despite the tranquil setting, the location is incredibly convenient — just a 10-minute walk to the central square, the iconic Santa Catalina Arch, and plenty of great restaurants and cafés in the surrounding area. The staff at Las Farolas are wonderful — very accommodating of special requests. We enjoy staying here as the rooms are comfortable, breakfast is good and convenient (the restaurant serves other meals, too) and the garden is delightful. The walk is not too far to other restaurants and the parque central.
