It was a great location. We used the property as a base for our travels around Madagascar - staying there 3 times in 3 weeks. Staff were accommodating and flexible. Hotel is comfortable and nicely outfitted.
I wish they would have options to purchase refreshments (water, soft drinks, etc). We were unable to find a shop nearby to purchase these things.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I really liked my room. Tall ceilings and spacious. It had a separate sun room for morning coffee. The entire property has great character.
The only negatives, which were far surpassed by the positives were that the fridge in my room did not work and during the night the power went out a few times. It didn’t really matter since it was at night, but odd.

It was a nice experience and I recommend this hotel to everyone who come to Tana for business or tourism. Nice food at the restaurant and excellent breakfast.

A delightful step back in tome.
Posted 11 Feb 2018 on HotelsWe spent 2 separate nights at the Le Pavillon de l'Emyrne, and enjoyed each stay. The staff welcomed us, and knew who we were, and that we had booked rooms. They also organised a taxi to the airport on our last night. The local area was full of lovely quirky bars and restaurants and I would recommend it to anyone.

Majestic old French colonial and historical place
