The hotel is absolutely amazing. Breakfast is lovely and staff are so helpful and friendly

Clean, comfortable, helpful staff (especially when I locked myself out of my room wearing only a t-shirt and underpants (it's a long story)). 5-10 minute walk to railway station and 20 mins by train to Geneva. Fridge in room was welcome. However, it's close to the railway; sometimes the crockery would rattle on the draining board when a train went by. Maybe that was just a ground floor thing. Had to deposit €150 as a security bond. While the bond was understandable the price seemed excessive. But was nice, on the whole.

Rooms good, pleasant property on a quiet street, close to train station, restaurants and bars.

AC illegal in France???

The hotel was new and very nice looking. Unfortunately it’s a very hot climate in Geneva. The hotel for some reason doesn’t have air conditioning (even though it was 35C/95F) outside everyday in the forecast. All they had in the room was one fan for the main room. The suite room had no fan. We had to open the windows open all night which only let more warm air in. Below was a train yard with trains going by all night. Staff didn’t seem to care that it was a very uncomfortable night. Is their a Law in France that AC is not allowed??? We had a similar issue in Paris

Very decent hotel close to train station. Room was good and spacious enough considering the price. One area of improvement that I can suggest is to start breakfast at 6am or 6.30am instead of 7am. We paid for breakfast but couldn't have it as our train was at 7.15. atleast in summer they can start breakfast at 6am
