Barossa Valley Gem

Our hosts Alicia and Anthony were very friendly and had done much to welcome us - a bottle of red and freshly baked bread was a lovely surprise. The accommodation was spotless and spacious and allowed us to fully relax. We would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking to stay in a lttle touch of home while visiting the Barossa - we'll be back 🙂

Luxurious facilities, special touches like house made bread, 5 min walk to town centre and friendly owners. Just too cold to use the pool 😝

Average, don’t think it was luxury as advertised
Posted 14 Feb 2022 on HotelsOur accommodation was ok, wasn’t the cleanest. Breakfast cereal should be prepackaged not in a jar. Was disappointed with the 2.2% surcharge when paying at accommodation. Hotels.com give you total amount on accommodation yet when you go and pay at accommodation they charge you more for using credit card. Maybe we should have been warn as I would have paid cash instead

So sorry to read you had some issues with your stay. You mentioned the place was not clean yet 99% of our reviews say just the opposite. We wish you had pointed out the problems while you were still here.
I’m sorry you were unhappy with the card processing fee. This is the fee the card company charges us for either debit or credit cards. We are not charging you extra. Obviously it is up to Hotels.com to be clearer about the card fee when paying at the Hotel.

The host was very friendly and passed on lots of suggestions and organised activities for us to do.

Excellent location, walking distance to Angaston with lots of food and drink options. Cycling trail nearby. Clean room, comfortable bed, good a/c, lovely pool on a hot day

This was a wonderful place to stay. The hosts were friendly, informative and very helpful without being intrusive.
The accommodation was beautifully clean and extremely comfortable. The homemade bread and granola and locally made jam was delicious, as was the complementary bottle of wine.
We would definitely stay here again!

What a beautiful property - clean, cosy with all the trimmings (including a cheeky bottle of Shiraz and freshly baked bread!!). Walking distance to the local town. And to top it off, such lovely owners who invited us over for a cup of coffee and a chat. We really loved our stay and recommend the White House to anyone staying in the Barossa. 5 stars.
