We loved this hotel! It was located in a gorgeous location along the Seward highway surrounded my mountains and water in a short distance. The room had everything we needed. It was a bit rustic, but we didn’t mind. We highly recommend staying here instead of in Anchorage for a more immersive Alaska experience.

Only hotel we have ever booked thru Expedia that
DOES NOT REFUND CANCELLATION!
We needed to change travel dates and all other properties were very accommodating but not this one. It turned out as we passed it by that it’s a DUMP anyway.
We had a wonderful stay at Inn at Tern Lake.
Shame on you Bird Creek, you obviously needed our money more than we did.

Very cozy, quiet and spotlessly clean, well provisioned, rustic but charming. Pleased we read the reviews they where spot on, we were un sure at first glance but were very pleased with our accommodation.

It was a great stay to get out of Anchorage however the only thing is the 4pm check in. They are very seriois about it and it makes it tough when there is really not many places you can go to wait to check in.
Other than that it was quiet, nice and relaxing.
