It was just what I required for a short stay. The staff were friendly and helpful and the lounge with all its arts and crafts on show added to make it a more comfortable and interesting area.

Perfect location and walkable. Rooms were small, but very comfortable and clean. We had canal view room which was lovely. Cafe/shop downstairs was charming. Very steep stairs and no elevator, but thats quite common.

charming but not a very nice breakfast
Posted 26 Dec 2023 on HotelsI loved the room and it was great value for money. The breakfast buffet was poor and grouchy service in a windowless room - so skip it. But the hotel is charming and in a good location to get to central station easily and everywhere else.
