Nice cheap hotel, easy location to stay to get to mount tsukubu and tsukubu circuit. i accidentally chose a smoking room instead of a non smoking room and they changed it for free with no hassle. great service.

inexpensive, clean, excellent Japanese breakfast

Posted 25 Apr 2015
Pros: I greatly appreciated that it was totally clean and either new or nicely renovated. I also found the bed mattress to be extremely comfortable for me.
Location: There seemed to be many enjoyable places nearby of natural beauty and of historical significance. Unfortunately, I didn't have time after my marathon.
It was exactly what I needed before running a marathon. It was reasonably close to an ideal bus stop for me. The staff members were more than helpful for each of my requests, whether about the room, the location, or helping me understand the Japanese in my race packet information.

Stay at the chisun

My brother and I were treated very nice in there. The room we were in May have been pretty small, but we thought it was just fine, we only stayed there just to sleep. The guys at the front desk were very friendly. Helped us in evey way. Some couldn't speak ingles, but they Googled phrases to communicate theirselves we us. A+ for that magnificent efforts.

Great value - wrong location!

Posted 3 Jan 2015
Found on Expedia as in the Narita area, to be close to airport. Room and hotel were terrific value, but then had to more than double the price by having to spend £80 and over an hour to get to the airport. Not what we expected!

My first Japan visit. Great hotel staff.

Overall, my six night stay with this hotel was great. Could have used drawers to store my clothes away during my stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. Bed was so comfy. Location was a bit out of the way to catch the train to get to Tokyo areas.

Hotel about an hour from Narita International

Posted 16 Apr 2014
Pros: Just enough for what we needed, nothing extra or unnecessary. (Bed, fridge, bath and quiet)
Cons: Maybe something in english here on the price list specifying the procedure for the breakfast or if it is included? I don't know enough Japanese to ask
Location: Ami Premium Outlets mall to shop, Lake Kasumiga-ura & park in Tsuchiura-shi, & Ushi-ku Daibutsu (Buddha)
I booked this hotel as my normal choices were filled for the night I was arriving back to the country with my daughter. I can't sleep on airplanes so my husband suggested instead of 3 hour drive home that I book a hotel to sleep and then we can sightsee in the area in the morning. The hotel is nicely equipped with a shower and deep tub for soaking. It is Japanese style with western influence. The bed was more like a king as it seemed larger than our queen but shorter. The bunk bed was a single size and perfect for our 6 year old. She loved it. The hotel had a mini fridge & wifi (I could not get to work to download an app that my phone required wifi for), but I didn't want to bother the staff. The staff was very polite and even printed out the local buddha statue information for us so we could see it when we left the hotel. We ate an italian dinner next door and it had great dessert. For breakfast they served typical japanese hotel breakfast and I wasn't sure if that cost was included so we went to the Denny's down the street. They had toiletries downstairs to pick up if needed and toothbrushes & razors were in bathroom. There was a microwave & vending machine downstairs in cafeteria area for the convenience food. Also listed near elevators were locations in every floor for other necessities you might need. The rooms were very quiet. With locations all of Japan - seems like a great price visit when traveling.

Great little hotel

Posted 6 Apr 2014 on Hotels
Excellent business hotel in convenient location with lots of restaurants within walking distance. Rooms are new, clean and cosy and although small it had a very comfortable double bed. This is quite a luxury in Japan for that sort of price. I stayed for 3 weeks there and the only really drawback was the lack of shelves or drawers to put once clothing. There was only a small, open wardrobe with a small shelf above it. Highly recommended
