A great place to stay in Ambleside
Posted 19 Feb 2024 on HotelsBrathay Lodge makes for a very comfortable and convenient stay in the Lake District. The room was modern and well-maintained and the staff friendly and considerate.
There is a parking fee (unless booked direct) but you’d have to pay elsewhere anyway. If you have an electric car it’s a good idea to let them know in advance so you can use their reasonably-priced ProjectEV charger.
The continental breakfast was fresh and varied and set us up for the day.
Would definitely stay there again.

We had a great stay our room and shower room were spotlessly clean. The bed linen and towels excellent quality. Parking at the premises was a bonus.

Fabulous location, great room and lovey breakfast to start the day. On site parking a plus too.

Posted 18 Sep 2023 on HotelsGreat property, ideally located with clean and comfortable rooms. Staff were helpful and friendly, there’s a nice continental breakfast included and there’s on site parking which is a rarity in most properties in Ambleside
