So conveniently located by the train station but without any of the noise. Magically stay, beautiful views. They could do better with the soaps and towels, very bare bones there. The pool is absolutely FREEZING!!! They don't heat it at all so it was totally unenjoyable. But otherwise the food at the restaurant was good. Fantastic location for those hiking the caminto and the bus to the trail head is located very near, a couple minute walk or so.

Pretty much the only place to stay and eat in El Chorro. Pool was nice, good food at restaraunt and great views over the river/reservoir amd mountains. Right beside bus transfer to El Caminito del Rey. Very limited parking.

The property was really pretty. The room was clean and comfortable. There are no restaurants in the area, but there is one on site. The young woman serving us was so incredibly slow, I am not even sure how to describe it. Just for example..... We asked for the check, waited 15 minutes. Asked again, waited again. Then someone else brought us the check because she was at the bar on her phone. So so bad. The food was not good, very disappointing.
If I could separate the hotel and the restaurant, I would give the hotel a 5 star review (the front desk seemed to be "over" the tourist thing, but most everyone else was nice).
I would give the restaurant a 1 star review. So bad.

Beautiful landscaping, pool extra special with water spray modern. Room quiet and large with a large patio.....Special stay with my pet. Yes I can take my pet in the restaurant and grounds just not the pool area.

Great place to stay BUT the service in the restaurant is crazy slow slow slow. We had 4 meals and all was the same service.

Puede que algunas veces, haya un servicio un poco mas lento en el restaurante por la gran afluencia de clientes que visitan este maravilloso paraje natural donde nos encontramos y su mayor atractivo turístico el Caminito del rey.Nuestros compañeros de sala , intentan siempre dar lo mejor de ellos y hacer su trabajo lo mejor posible para que el cliente que nos visite se sienta como en casa, por eso, escuchan al cliente, le aconsejan sobre los mejores platos etc. Esperamos que vuelva a visitarnos y que su opinión cambie.Un saludoEquipo la Garganta

We chose this property as best location for Caminito del Rey trail. Staff was very helpful and friendly. We had the "Movie" room which was very original although not very recommended for people that do not wish to go up&down the stairs but cool touch. The restaurant was very good which plenty of choices and staff on top of everything. I can see this is also a great place to stay in the summer with the pool and the amazing views!

We had a room with a view. They look bigger on the pictures, than in reality. The stairs to the top floor is very steep and narrow. The breakfast is served and needs a bit longer than a buffet. Access to the Caminito del Rey is great. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Brilliant stay during our visit to Caminito Del Rey. Hotel is situated right next to the train station and just a 5/10 minute walk away from the South entrance. Room was spacious and clean, only downside was that the air was very dry due to the AC. Lovely pool area with sunbeds overlooking the hills. Outside restaurant area had a fantastic view and would definitely recommend eating there. We did for both nights of our stay and had a great mix of traditional food and drink. Great value for money for a stay during the off season.
