5 minute drive from Alnwick, nice clean rooms good breakfast.

I fully understand your frustration. The service you received was obviously not our usual high standards. All our menus are cooked to order, and we always encourage guests to notify us of anything that is not as expected so we have the chance to correct it. The Hogs Head Inn was a great place to stay. The rooms were large, check in was easy and the restaurant had great food. Our only complaint was that the hallways did have a clear cigarette smoke smell, but that was not present in our room. The bed was a bit hard for our liking but that is not to say that it was bad. We had a great stay and would recommend to others visiting the area.

The room was ok dreadful lighting so quite dull. That’s ok but breakfast not good no natural yogurt and quality not expected for the price! At the price paid expected much better quality all round

Bed was comfortable and the on-site restaurant provided easy access and satisfaction to our hungry bellies. Staff were very attentive to our needs. Overall a nice stay.
