Posted 18 Jun 2022 on HotelsVan Serai is located in the peaceful foothills of Kumaon within walking distance of great religious sites such as Jageshwar etc. The resort itself is a small, rustic property with simple decor and comfortable rooms. The bathroom and beds were of good standard, but it’s the service and dining that deserves the highest praise. No demand was too small and staff brought tea and snacks promptly and with great care. Meals were well priced and consisted of unapologetically simple yet wholesome food. Nothing was extravagant, but every element was well flavoured, balanced and was served kindly.

It was a great stay! Vijay the manager was very nice and very soft spoken. He’s very helpful in every aspect. Food was great, you never miss home. Thanks to all the staff. I’ll definitely recommend this place.

Excellent place, the location, view, food and especially the staff are great. Vijay and Bhuvan are very warm and welcoming and do their best to make the guest experience warm. It's a serene place experience and one you should put on your list for sure.

The location and scenic beauty. The food was good, there is no protection against flying mosquitoes, and there is no wifi, only Idea cellular works, no other cellular service works.
