Varying degree of competence for help n service. Several horrible service people whom weren’t trained nor seemed to really care about delivering services one would expect as someone asking for assistance. Restaurant very average. Maid service poor. Breakfast lacked omelette bar. N coffee service only through machines. Incredible location and views. Unfortunately some staff lack of attention to details would make it difficult to ever stay at this hotel in future.

Very nice stay, excellent facilities, very nice rooms. Only comment would be the service staff in main restaurant (during daytime) took a long time taking orders, settling bills etc. Maybe beginning of season and new staff..all very polite and professional though, just a bit slow

Wonderful hotel! Great pool, easy walk to town. The hotel restaurant is convenient but the options in town are a bit better. Surf school affiliated with the hotel is really great, highly recommend!

To get it out of the way, the only negative thing I can say about this report is its wifi. We didn't have wifi at our "room" (not common area) for easy 4 nights which was very frustrating. The front desk was notified about this and kept telling us that they had wifi issues and that their guy would come to take a look following day at 11 am but the problem persisted. Other than this read on:
Pros: awesome breakfast, nice staff, beautiful resort and view, clean facilities, decent kids playing room and decent fitness room
Cons: (not the hotel's fault) very far from Lisbon, pretty much nothing around the resort other than couple of small shops and restaurants and the wifi issue as stated previously.

Upscale hotel with beautiful architecture and stunning view on the ocean. Well located within Sagres at a walking distance of restaurants, beaches and main street. Few comments for consideration: No USB ports in the room and no electrical outlet above the desk. Those from North America need electrical adaptors to connect chargers. Coffee machine in the room should be provided considering the hotel classification

Lovely hotel with great views, nice food, friendly staff and good base for cycling and walking (and surfing if that’s your thing!). Bikes to hire on site and other options locally including e-bikes. About 90 minutes from Faro airport.
