Cozy, traditional place close to the river Mosel, with a nice summer terrace and a good selection of wines from the region.
Rooms are spacious and comfortable but could do with a bit of modernisation. Friendly staff at all times.

Perfectly located in Alf near the Moselle river. (5 min walk).

A charming location, rooms seem to need an update

This hotel is unique and absolutely lovely. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us for the entirety of our stay. The only disappointment was that the restaurant was closed. Having an on site restaurant was one of the reasons why I booked this hotel. Otherwise, it was a perfect stay.

Our restaurant is normally open from 12 am until 9 pm every day.
Only on Tuesday our chef of the kitchen Björn Theis and his team are enjoying their day off.
On all other days they are more than happy to serve our guests fresh and local food.

An incredible apartment- it's like something from Grand Designs. The staff are friendly and accommodating, the restaurant in the main building is great too and Alf itself is full of historic charm and character. Definitely a beautiful hotel.

Hotel on the Mosel

Pros: clean staff was good beds comfy location
Cons: Need more staff when you have a bus group because regular customers get forgotten.. staff tried hard but so much business that they didn't have time
Location: Mosel River cruise
If you have trouble with stairs make sure you ask for access to your room with the lift/elevator.. a few rooms you don't have access to using a lift.. We were upgraded into the apt but for us it was difficult to get up the stairs with luggage. The apartment bathroom was poorly designed .. in front of the bathroom sink was a wall all glass looking into the bedroom and we didn't like that. Otherwise it was nice to have the extra space.
