Shower was clogging up. Mold in coffee maker. Mold on ceiling in bathroom.

Overall was an average older hotel. Was a good night rest and shower in between the NASCAR races. Breakfast we skipped as area was small and offerings were slim.

This room was absolutely nasty. I had to wipe every surface with soapy water before setting anything down. Stains all over the floor, everything covered in a thick layer of dust. Cobwebs and dirt in the window. The check in attendant didn’t activate our cards so when my husband went back because we couldn’t get in she gave him an attitude!

Close to the highway and noisy.

Outside nicely kept. Housekeeping was horrible. Was there 4 days with no housekeeping done. Had to ask for toilet paper trash bags and to have my linens changed and beds made. Manager was accommodating when I asked but I was told that housekeeping cleaned my room according to log. This certainly was not the case. Also had an outdoor pool that we weren’t allowed to use. No reason given

The explanation of the log is a bit convoluted, but the short of it is that check out rooms are prioritized and if they see a DND sign they are instructed not to enter. Housekeeping staff is only available 9AM-3PM.The outdoor pool is closed until May due to a set schedule we follow.
