Lovely big, warm family room with lovely clean ensuite and great shower. Breakfast was delicious and staff were friendly and served us well. The only negative was the noise from the road.

Easy access and parking. Hotel ok but shower too small. Place is tiered and very dim lighting. Couldn’t see the menu. Fish and chips was good

English Wayside Inn, outshines all others
Posted 1 Mar 2024 on HotelsThis small wayside inn, a pub with rooms in may ways is just a little gem. There is nothing fancy or pretentious just a very comfortable bed, a well appointed shower room, a good sustaining breakfast, and most importantly of all great wine and beer and wonderful home cooked food.
English hospitality at it's absolute best, with well trained and marshalled local staff who are always friendly and helpful.
We keep coming back, it is handy for Stratford, Birmingham and the northern cotswolds.

Quiet, comfortable pub/hotel. Special thanks to Hannah who was warm and welcoming despite our late arrival and served breakfast with a cheery smile the next day.

A great night away, close enough to Alcester and with some good walks straight from the pub. Wonderful breakfast.
