My room was filthy. Toilet not cleaned rubbish in bathroom sinks not cleaned. Desks & chair had spilled liquid also not cleaned. The whole room (bathroom included). Needed a good wipe & vacuum.
It was a cheap room but it should be clean.
spend the extra $20 stay somewhere better

My recent stay at Australia Park Motel was extremely disappointing.
We arrived just after 8pm and had 2x children under 5 to get to sleep asap.
We found a used pair of male underwear in the room, along with what appeared to be dog hair in the bathtub. After forgoing a shower after being on the road all day, we collapsed in the beds and went to sleep.
At around 10:30 the front desk called and left a message after to say they had not been payed for the room. The lady who handed us our keys earlier that evening made no mention of this and we didn't appreciate the late call waking up 1 of our kids.
On checkout, I went to go and discuss the cleanliness issues we had in our room but there was no one to talk to as the office doesn't open before 9. We spoke a few hours later over the phone and when I bought up the issues we had the response was extremely disappointing. "Sorry, we'll try better next time." "its hard to find good staff".
When I asked if some compensation would be considered the response was "no, just pay". I should have bought up that we payed for a clean room and they hadn't delivered this but in my shock and disappointment I payed the amount.
I will not be staying here again after doing so for the last 12 years. I would recommend seeking alternative accommodations. Happy to be contacted for confirmation!

Was ok for a one night stay with my family. I felt it was cheaper as well during the peak time.

This property was perfect for our overnight stay, clean, easily accessible and smooth self check in. This property worked well for our family of 4.
