Well this year has been a year of many firsts and different experiences. After a world wide lockdown and different ways of living, I think most of us were in need of a quality holiday. After mulling over options with all the restrictions in place. Will it be statycation or risk going abroad with everchanging rules. We put our trust in Allah and decided to go Turkey and chose Gold City as our resort. Totally feel it was a blessed choice that was guided by Ar Rahman niRaheem. We took the risk and booked individually through websites on our own and got a deal of the century to start with. On Arrival The looming complex on top of a hill did really look majestic. We arrived at this sprawling complex of a grand hotel and surrounding villas and first impressions were spectacular. Due to Covid the complex was pretty empty We were given a pool facing apartment with a superb view of the sea as well. Apartment was Great. Pluses=Bath with a Jacuzzi, WASHING MACHINE,Balcony with superb views. Comfortable beds. Bath was leaking but we reported it and they repaired the issue so all was fine. There are lots of facilities at the hotel. about 5 restaurants, all were closed due to Covid. They had a burger bar on Lower floors, Enjoy Burger semi Gourmet, type burgers for around £4 to £5 pounds with Chips, Absolutely delish and totally reasonable prices for Hotel of this calibre. The right choice for your Holiday.. Gold city!

It was a very nice Hotel. The staff were very friendly and spoke very good English. The beach is very close and the hotel provided transport to and from the beach. There is also transport to the centre at a good price. You can also rent a car from the hotel and there is free parking. The food was delicious and there is a wide selection of different dishes. The room was very spacious! Provided a safe, a washing machine and even a Jacuzzi!! There was amazing views from the balcony. The hotel provided for our needsand provided us with the extra bed. There are lots of swimming pools and the waterpark was amazing the entertainment program at night was very nice.I highly recommend this hotel thank you Gold City!

The resort had guests mainly from Russia (or formerly Russian States) and hence most of the food were catered to their taste robbing my enthusiasm for authentic Turkish food. 2. Announcements, live entertainment and kids activities were all spoken in Russian and hosts were speaking in foreign language(Russian) which meant my kid was alienated completely from the group. 3. very few staff spoke English making it very difficult for me to ask for basics 4. On the day of check out, my 4yr daughter was stopped getting into the restaurant because she didn't have wrist band (the fact is she never had it from day one). Staff's attitude changed completely when I checked out which was hard to digest and made me more eager to get out of the place. Definitely not recommended for British tourists.

Really Nice

All positives, everything was good other than the following although food was ok, it was repetitive.The snack bar food was really nice thr staff at the sheesha bar arent the nicest. All other staff were really nice After asking several times for the A.C to be sorted because the room was without a remote, they never sorted it accomodated more for russians. when speaking to agents or shop staff they said their brochures were designed for russians which automatically made me not purchase anything / arrange any activities with them.

Great staff and all inclusive facilities

We had a lovely time at the hotel. The All inclusive service was excellent and all the staff were great especially the staff at the buffet restaurant and snack bar. We were disappointed with the heat in the reception and lobby area. The air conditioning was not on although I was told it was on but cos doors are open it was not effective, but I went under the air con and could not feel any cold air coming out. The room was very good but mattress and pillow were too soft. Location of hotel was far out and taxi was expensive but we knew about this before we left and also our plan was to spend most of our holiday at the hotel Entertainment was good

Good for kids......but

We were kindly upgraded to a deluxe from a villa, and the room was generally excellent. We had a huge jacuzzi and Internet and A/C worked perfectly, but only in the room. Everywhere else, the A/C and Internet hardly works. You spent hours a day trying to connect to wifi when In reception or by the pool while sweating because the A/C doesn't work anywhere in the hotel except for your room. Also, the food got extremely boring over the 7 days and could generally have been better. Apart from that, I and my kids had a nice time. The gym and pool facilities were decent.

no body speaks English , house keeping is terrible

Cons: language and customer service and cleanness
no body speaks English , house keeping is terrible and if they come they are selecting in cleaning it is rates five star should be 3 3.5 star

brilliant family fun

Pros: pretty much everything
Cons: a few more bbq / grilled meat options would be even better...
Location: private beach is very nice
Staff are very welcoming and polite, impressive facilities, pools, entertainment, food everything makes it a perfect package..
