"This was the best I’ve ever stayed at. Pre check in was not good. However it was the week they changed over to Hyatt. So I was unable to book any dinners anywhere. Super disappointed. But the buffet. Omg. The BEST buffet ever! The staff was amazing in the dining area, there were endless choices of food. So I’m not bummed we didn’t book restaurants because the buffet was on point every single night. There was a theme every night. The swim up pool was amazing. We had the whole place to ourselves it seemed. The beach is just ok. The bar there sucked l, only because 1 bartender. The beach, it was where everyone seemed to smoke. Gross. It smelled. But The staff again was great on the beach. The staff was a well oiled machine. Hard workers and everyone seemed to love their job and it was so so inviting!!!! The grounds were immaculate, the activities were fun. You don’t get board. The rooms were clean but they do have a musty smell. The bathrooms are on smaller side but provide all toiletries you need. The swim up was perfect. Great to read a book and chill. This place was so much fun. The sports bar was super cool. The bartenders there were great. We had such a great time. I’m telling everyone!"
"The resort was great for families. However we have been to better hotels in Mexico and did not pay as much as the Bahía Príncipe explore Tulum. Take US dollars, they will never give you change for pesos. À la carte bookings was an absolute nightmare. For the week my group of 9 got 1 restaurant booked. Considering each room is allowed 2 à la cartes and we all together had 1 is a joke. For the amount of money we spent on this vacation we expected a bit more. Our tv in the hotel didn't work for a majority of our stay which was not ideal when you have a toddler. The buffet food was good no complaints there. Overall the resort was great for families but there were some things that were off putting"
Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka’an - Adults Only - All Inclusive
6/10 Okay
"We had 4 of us doing a golf trip, we had booked 2 rooms with 2 queen beds in each room and they said we could not get that they only had rooms with 1 King available and they would put a Cot in there to help. The room was not very comfortable once the cot was added as it couldn't accommodate another sleeping space. When we checked in they gave us tickets for our travel golf bags and said they would transfer it to our rooms once ready as we would be out golfing when the room became available. We got back after our round and our baggage was still sitting beside the bus stop and hadn't been moved so that was beyond frustrating that this wasn't taken care of as offered. The food was okay we always just did the Buffet option and the breakfast was always good the Dinner buffet was just okay, not as many options."
"Our room was fantastic, Alan was a huge help in making our vacation amazing, all of the staff were friendly and helpful, and we had a wonderful session with their in house photographer Conrado. The on site restaurants were all great, and the buffet always had plenty of options."
