The staff were amazing: the best in all hotels we have stayed in throughout the world( and there have been lots!).Also, the hotel room was spacious with a great view.Its location, near to the lovely beaches ,a few good restaurants and bus stops, was very good too.Breakfasts were plentiful,with lots of choice.Funally, the pool, set in lovely gardens, was wonderful.A superb discovery!

Just a little bit removed from the bustle of the centre of town, this hotel is located along a section of beach that is, in a word, glorious. The hotel staff are super friendly - special recommendation for Jack at reception - and the cleaning staff and all we met were friendly and helpful. We spent our one morning at the pool once we discovered that the conditions had brought jellyfish into the otherwise perfect beach, just over the road from the hotel. My wife took a nasty sting but the hotel staff helped her with some ointment that brought the swelling down completely. Locals told us this was not a common infestation. We had managed some nice snorkelling the evening before off the same beach. We had two lovely meals at local beach restaurants with superb views over the bay. I would go back to this hotel without hesitation.

Beautiful sea view near Ajaccio

Base camp for archeological tours
Posted 23 May 2019 on HotelsLa Pinède is a perfect spot, a base camp really, to explore archeological sites -- especially the Well at Santa Cristina. There's even a Nuraghe complex almost within walking distance. Excellent restaurant and a surprisingly good breakfast. Comfortable, spacious room. Clean as a whistle.
