Relief and peaceful

1 night stay in Dec
Posted 9 Jan 2024 on HotelsThis was one of four different 3* hotels we stayed in across different states of India. Reception was nice, and rooftop restraunt was a nice touch - bit visiting in December it was too cold to enjoy! The room was a good size and well finished, the bathroom was also nicely finished with a strong shower, bit it wasn't seperate so water went everywhere on the bathroom floor. Breakfast was decent with 5-6 dofferenr options, bit worse than a cheaper hotel we had stayed in. Best point was proximoty to Taj Mahal - about 10 min walk. This is probably why this was the most expensive hotel we stayed in in India, but it pales in comparison to other 3* hotels in different countries at a similar price point (Turkey). We arrived at the hotel at night, the ares was poorly lit (made worse by fog) and didn't feel saf to walk further down the road.

Mediocre hotel with good proximity to the Taj’s Eastern Gate. Not bad for one night but I wouldn’t stay here again.

The staff made the experience special. Restaurant staff went out of their was to accommodate our needs, front desk staff helped me a lot with some technical issues, and housekeeping staff did a really good job. And my son LOVED watching the moneys swimming and playing in the swimming pool!
