If I didn’t have reservations at a different island, I would’ve stayed my whole vacation at this hotel and on the island of Agistri. The owner and the staff are very kind, generous, respectful, positive and always smiling …. The authenticity of this hotel is breathtaking. Being here gives a sense of peace and calmness. There’s so much positivity and good vibes in this place. I more than highly recommend it.

Despite the horrendous storm the island had suffered the night before we arrived, Saronis Hotel did everything in their power to accommodate us without a problem. They worked tirelessly to ensure that they were providing us with everything within their power despite power outage and flooding. It was out of their control. The venue was beautifully presented.

A home away from home

Arrive as guests, leave as friends
Posted 14 May 2023 on HotelsFrom arrival to departure we were treated like guests in someone’s home. Clearly the host, Kalliope, puts a lot of effort into the guest experience. The highlight of which is breakfast, which is unquestionably the best we have ever had. This was all home made and served with love every morning. A mix of Greek dishes, a choice of main dish, fresh orange juice and coffee.
The hotel is very easy to find and a short walk from the ferry. It is a stone’s throw from the beach and an easy walk to restaurants. The town beach behind the church is sandy and has an easy access into the sea with a marked swimming area.
At the hotel there are lots of quiet areas to sit, in shade or sun, and relax in the rear garden where there is also a book swap.
Please be prepared to relax, unwind and be fed with love and a smile. Thank you Kalliope and your team xx
