We recently stayed at The Cambrian Hotel in Switzerland, booking a deluxe Mountain Panorama View room with the expectation of a balcony. However, upon check-in, we were surprised to find that the room we received had a very small window and no balcony, which was a stark contrast to what was advertised on the hotel's website and booking platforms.
Paying around 650 CHF per night for a two-night stay and not receiving the room we expected was disappointing. The discrepancy between the room we received and the representation provided during booking was quite significant. We believe that if a room does not have a balcony and only features a small window, it should be sold at a different price point.
Additionally, we were disheartened by the attitude of the front desk staff, including the duty manager, when we politely raised our concerns. Their response came across as rude, which further impacted our experience negatively.
We hope that by sharing our experience, others will be mindful when booking with the hotel. It's important for guests to be aware that the actual accommodations may not align with what is advertised. We recommend potential guests to consider reaching out to the hotel directly to ensure that the room they book meets their expectations.
While our stay at The Cambrian Hotel did not meet our expectations, we are hopeful that our feedback will be taken into consideration for the improvement of future guest experiences. We trust that the management will address
