A bit over rated

Pros: The food was good
Cons: Rooms need a overhaul.
A bit overpriced for the room but a nice meal. Room was dated and had an odour.

A short stay.

Posted 15 Feb 2017 on Wotif
Pros: Reasonable pricing
Cons: Maintenance work is needed to bring the rooms up to a good standard. Mainly inexpensive work.
All i needed for a 2 day stay. Good water views and a relaxing setting.

Comfortable bed

Posted 6 Feb 2017 on Lastminute
3 of the light switches wouldn't work. So there was only one in the bedroom & only one in the bathroom. Rest fine.

More like a Motel

Posted 5 Feb 2017 on Wotif
When we entered our first room, there was a stain on the floor where the door was and a funny smell. Tried to put up with it & put the aircon on, but after 10 minutes, we had to ask if we could change rooms. The staff was very helpful in allowing us to do so and kept us on the "sea view" level we paid for. The second room still had a smell but not as strong. The condition of parts of the room weren't great. However, the bed was comfortable and clean. After arrival, we didn't feel content with the price as we expected better quality of the accommodation. I understand though, that it could have been more due to a last minute booking for a room on a Saturday night. Either way, I wouldn't go back.

Close to the beach, good playground

Posted 2 Feb 2017 on Wotif
The food and playground was great. The carpet in our hotel room had a section about the size of a dinner plate missing, the shower curtain and floor was dirty. Close to the beach

What a dump

Posted 20 Jan 2017
Pros: Leaving
Cons: Burn it to the ground and start again
Location: Obviously the rooms are a a very distant concern to the pokies.
The door almost fell apart opening it, the light didn't work, there were mould stains on the roof of the shower. Grubby, dingy, dirty. Was expecting a break in or by car to be on bricks in the morning. Was surprised not to see hookers using the rooms. An absolute dump.

Clean, quiet, comfortable and convenient

Posted 8 Jan 2017 on Hotels
Absolutely loved our stay here! Yes, this is a budget hotel - $120 for a seaview queen room. However the rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff lovely and helpful and the location was wonderful with a beautiful beach and restaurants nearby. I would not hesitate coming back here, I'd rather spend more time in this beautiful place than more money on a room I only sleep and shower in - not forgetting that the rooms have air con, a bar fridge, iron and hair dryer if you wish also. Thank you so much, this hotel was a pleasant surprise!

The location is okay but the room condition was not so good and bad smell.
