Lovely hideaway in Caleta. Beautifully renovated design hotel with the 50s vibe. Amazing tropical views. Great pool side restaurant. Convenient connection with Acapulco downtown. We had a great time starting the 2020 here :) The staff helped us to arrange a private driver/tour guide to show around Acapulco. Many thanks for having us and hope to be back :)

Old and extremely shabby !
Posted 3 Dec 2019 on HotelsThis hotel is old, very old and in very poor condition. First thing you notice is the area, it maybe the worst area in Acapulco and felt very dangerous. The lobby has a low ceiling and is dark so not very welcoming. The elevator is extremely slow and there's only 3 floors. The room is small with a TV not much bigger than my laptop. The is 1 drawer for all you clothes and absolutely no shelf our counter for your wash kit. The bathroom (including the shower) is inside the bedroom (no walls, only for the tiny toilet). There is no glass in the windows just screens and shutters so the air conditioning is ineffective, the lowest we got the room was 27c. The swimming pool is small so heats up fast and is not refreshing the whole area around the pool is shabby and in desperate need of renovation. It looks like the only thing done was to put a fresh coat of paint right on top of the old paint without any preparation at all. I booked here because it's a Habita group hotel, I have stayed in many and enjoyed them all, this is an embarrassment I simply do not understand why Habita would allow their name on this hotel. If there was a bright spot, it was the people, like the other Habita hotels the staff were friendly and very helpful, but even that cannot overcome this dreadful property.

Habita is very proud to own Boca Chica. And as an Habita property, the design may be understood or not, like what happened in your case.
We provide a closet with hangers where you can set your clothes. And no, our TVs are not the size of a lap top.
The hotel is located in the best sanctuary for scuba diving with clear water, full of nature and live.
Boca Chica is located in one of the most popular beaches of Mexico, and once you are inside you get to enjoy of peace and most wonderful view. Best place to relax.

Truly pet friendly. Quiet waterfront amidst the craziness of Acapulco. The beachfront rooms are great!

Amazing place to relax, nice decoration, great view, and well located directly on the water. Good restaurant and spa as well, you don't need to get out from the hotel to spend a wonderful weekend.
