Good check-in with friendly staff. Excellent breakfast freshly cooked. Good location in centre of aberystwyth.

Clean and quiet room in a hotel that ticked off the basics. Room (single) was postage-stamp sized up a narrow steep staircase (no lift). Ice cold when I arrived but eventually found the heater control and things gradually improved. No luggage rack but perhaps that seems to be typical in the UK.

A bit dated. Quality of towels really need to be improved as very thin.
Better signs for the car park entrance would also be helpful.

Poor value for money
Posted 20 Sep 2019 on HotelsStaff were friendly and helpful, location was great, dinner was good, bed was comfortable but hotel is very tired and poorly maintained, breakfast was very average and worst of all there was no hot water in our rooms (and no plug for the handbaisin). Definitely way overpriced - the highest rate we are paying on this trip for the worst accomodation!
