"Nice place, rooms are dark so could do with better lighting. Very friendly staff. The sofa inside the rooms are kinda itchy on the skin so could do with changing them or providing blankets. Lovely location. Great bathroom. "

"Generally incredible property and service was impeccable. The only slight let down was the gluten free options for dining, which having an allergy is important to me though this won't worry too many. The room I stayed in had a door the otherside of the headboard and that woke me a couple of times ik the night. If they could improve the noise on this there wouldn't be any problems at all."

"A weekend break in the city exploring a different part of London. I enjoyed staying at Clayton House, which is in a great location close to Bank tube station and Liverpool Street main line station. The area around the hotel is stunningly beautiful. Staff at the hotel were all exceptionally welcoming and friendly. Marta on reception was very welcoming. I liked the little touches in the room that made the stay extra special. Good coffee, bathrobes, nice products, a comfortable bed, recycling feature in the bins & much more. Breakfast was an especial delight. Maybe they need not have rushed to bring everything out in a hurry. Breakfast should be a leisurely affair. But that quibble aside, this has been an enjoyable stay made all the more agreeable by the staff at this hotel. "

"Great space, nice aesthetics, and many eco-friendly details throughout. The room and bathroom were huge and very comfortable. Conveniently located. We didn’t get to try the Lampery which is attached to the hotel, but it seemed charming and something to do next time we visit."

However the new buffet breakfast is a bit disappointing, the hot food seemed tired and some of the pastries not well presented at all. The old breakfasts were magnificent. Fresh and well presented."
