The room was constantly clean and the staff at the desk was extremely nice. They called us cabs when needed and provided us with umbrellas. Gave us great suggestions on nearby food and sites. Also felt very safe the whole trip. Would definitely recommend this stay!

This is a mixed review: If you are on a tight budget and want a centrally located barebones hotel, this might be for you. But you should know a few things>
First, the staff are very friendly. We arrived after a red-eye flight and they got us into our room early (which we appreciated). You need to walk up a lot of stair (narrow and windy). There is a very small elevator but you need to walk up 1.5 flights of stairs before you can access it - if you have mobility issues or are just really tired after a long day of sightseeing, this will be a pain!). The water in the shower goes from cold to scalding without warning and for no reason - expect this 3 - 4 times per 10 minute shower. The room was bare bones but clean. We didn't go to Paris to stay in our room. The location is great - easy jumping off point for all the great sights. Shampoo is terrible (seriously, get your own). Again, if you are on a budget and want to see Paris - this might be the place for you, but you should know the details before booking.
